De Collection Maps and Atlases of the University Library was founded in 1967 and now manages more than 50.000 cards. All maps dating from before 1900 are georeferenced and available through the viewer below. Zoom in on the area of your interest and the list on the right will automatically be filled with maps available for this area. With 'Attributes' or 'Timeline' (top left) you can enter additional search criteria. Click on the map in the list to display the map. To download the image: click on 'Georeferencer' for the georeferenced file'; click on 'Viewer' for a high resolution scan (you will be redirected to the Image bank).
